Aquas Finished!

Another 37 blocks completed and I'm on to the pinks. I really enjoyed sewing up all of these pretty aqua and teal blocks. I think they'll be a lovely addition to the quilt.

Here's a sneak peek at the first pink block. I have so many lovely pink fabrics to use. These blocks are going to be lovely!

    1. The individual blocks only take a few minutes to sew together, but when you've got thirty or more in a single color... yeah, that takes a while! :)

  3. I can't wait to see this quilt when it's finished! reading your stuff makes me want to sew more. (about your latest post... I'm a fabric hoader... and a book hoarder, I don't think I could ever give all my fabric to goodwill, but I'm impressed that you could liberate yourself in such a way!)

    1. Me too! I think it's going to be pretty incredible. :) As to the fabric hoarding... there were a lot of years when I wouldn't have even considered giving it away. I realized recently, though, that all that fabric was just sitting there, unused, for years when someone out there could be sewing with it. Once I started bagging it up, it was easy to give it all away. Exciting, even. :)
