Change.

It's been four years since I started this little blog.

So much has changed since that first post. I had another child, and now have a third on the way. I'm sending my oldest off to Kindergarten in the fall (eek!). I started quilting. I closed up my first Etsy shop and often wonder if it's time to close my second. I bake. I dream of decorating.

And so maybe it's time to take a step in a new direction.

Welcome to needle and nest. A little space for us to sip tea and chat about sewing, quilting, books, decorating and other delights.

I hope you'll join me!

  1. Wow! You've been at this for 4 years? Isn't it amazing how life metamorphosis... it's crazy to think what the next four years will bring. I love the new name! This is just the kind of place I'd love to meet... sewing, quilting & books = happiness to me!
