A new master or miss.

I love seeing so many posts recently from bloggers who are expecting new babies. Baby announcements make the best kind of news, don't you agree?

Well, I have a bit of baby news of my own. I'm expecting the arrival of Master or Miss #3 (we're going to be surprised) in mid-November!

I had my second trimester ultrasound yesterday, so I just couldn't resist sharing a few shots of my little sweetie. The first shot is a profile of the wee one's head and the second shows the baby's foot.

Here's a little known pregnancy fact for you. Did you know that sewing can make a newly pregnant woman nauseous? Yeah, me either. I sure missed my sewing machine, but we're back on friendly terms again so hopefully I can get moving on a few projects soon!

    1. Thank you! I do have a few things planned, actually. :) Mostly, I need to make some new cloth diaper covers since some of my old ones have worn out after two kids.

    1. Thank you, Joyce! I bet you're an awesome grandma! Yes, they're very happy about it. My daughter is very excited and my son, well I'm not sure he's old enough to grasp what's going on yet. He knows there's a baby in mama's tummy, but I don't think he's quite grasped that it means someone new will be coming to live with us. :)

  4. I love the photos of sweet baby #3! Babies are just the very best news ever!!! A little tid bit about me. I've never found out the gender of my babies before their arrival- I just think it adds such an element of excitement to the birth! (and it makes my mother in law absolutely nuts, hehehe)

    1. I completely agree! Babies really are the best news. :) You know, it seems so rare these days to meet someone else who has gone with the surprise factor. We did it with our other two, and there really is no greater (or more joyful) surprise in life. Nothing compares to it. It is kind of funny how it bugs people sometimes, isn't it? :)

    2. I know! I actually had one woman say to me (when I was expecting kit and told her I wasn't going to find out the gender) that was the "stupidest thing she had EVER heard" direct quote. Yikes, right!?! People are funny.

    3. REALLY???? Oh my goodness, how awful! People are so strange... and I swear there's something about a pregnant woman that makes them feel it's okay to say whatever they're thinking. Geez!
